Environmental, social and governance investing has grown strongly over the last few years, both in terms of both assets flowing into funds and investment vehicles available. According to data from Morningstar, annual European sustainable fund flows increased from €50bn (£45bn) in 2018 to a record-breaking €120bn in 2019, bringing the total assets under management to €668bn. This increase was mirrored in the number of sustainable funds, which increased by 360 in 2019, to total 2,405. This interest has, if anything, increased since the start of the Covid-19 crisis. So what is it, why has it grown in popularity? Join our Defaqto webinar series with five experts all presenting their own views on ESG and how this type of investing is now a key offering for their clients. 9 out of 10 previous attendees recommend our events for the perfect balance of structured quality content.
